Windsurfing: Bigbury Wind Direction: SW Wind Stength: F4-6 Surf / Sea State: 2-4ft Air Temperature: 19 Sea Temperature: 13 Weather: Sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Another perfect day. Caught Bigbury just right with low spring tides and a
SW wind meant no wind shadow.
Started on 6.2 which was just about powered up then the wind lulled as the
tide turned so took a lunch break. Back out and was hanging on for grim
death. Long walk back to change down to a 5.4 but this was still too much.
Couldn't be bothered to change down again but this put paid to my forward
loop pledge, hitting a 4ft ramp at 30 kts overpowered is not ideal learning
conditions! The wind eased off later but so did the ramps I guess the loops
will have to wait another day as they have for the last 10 years.
A lot of people out but still managed to get some frontside riding in cross
on conditions and loads of huge jumps. And it was sunny what more can you
ask for.
